Miss Central
Pennsylvania 2025
Madelyn’s Miss America journey began by surprise and with a single question. After being crowned Miss WCU 2023, a local journalist asked her, “Are you ready for Miss Pennsylvania?” Caught off guard but intrigued, Madelyn jumped into the Miss America Opportunity as an At-Large Contestant. With no formal training, a completely borrowed wardrobe, and absolutely no idea what to expect, she leaned on a small but mighty circle of mentors and community supporters to help her reach the stage.
She went into Miss Pennsylvania week with one goal, to make one friend. She left with 26 sister queens, a renewed sense of purpose, and over $2,000 in scholarships to support her education. When she was named a Top 11 finalist at her very first Miss Pennsylvania competition, a mentor repeated those fateful words: “Are you ready for Miss Pennsylvania 2024?” That was the moment Madelyn knew she was hooked.
In February 2024, she competed in her first official local competition and earned the title of Miss Berks County, along with over $600 in scholarships, while also taking home Top Scoring Talent and Top Scoring Interview Awards.
Throughout her year of service, Madelyn used her business mindset to build meaningful connections, expand her brand, and explore new avenues for her Community Service Initiative (CSI).
At Miss Pennsylvania 2024, she earned over $3,500 in scholarships, placed in the Top 5, won the Preliminary Talent Award, and became a 2x Frank Gillespie Scholarship recipient. She proudly served her full year as Miss Berks County, keeping service at the heart of everything she did.
One of the biggest highlights of her year? Attending the Miss America Competition in person, where she met titleholders from across the country, trained with former national winners, and connected with national sponsors and partners.
In February 2025, Madelyn was crowned Miss Central Pennsylvania and was honored with the Overall Interview Award, a deeply meaningful achievement for her as an avid public speaker. This year, her goal is to visit 15 more counties with her CSI, Loosen the Leash Project, a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit. As a Top 5 National Ambassador with Global Game Changers, she is bringing animal kindness lessons to elementary schools across Pennsylvania. She also continues to work with state legislators on animal protection efforts, advocating for the national expansion of House Bill 1210 and The Beagle Bill to strengthen animal safety laws across all 50 states.
In June of 2025, Madelyn will compete for the title of Miss Pennsylvania at the Appell Center for the Performing Arts, sponsored by the Warehime Foundation. By raising $4,350 in scholarship funds for the Miss Pennsylvania Program Book, she was honored to have first pick over her competition order.
“I may be last in the line up, but I am ready to leave a lasting impression” - Madelyn
She chose to be the final delegate as it is a symbolic metaphor to her. As a proud race car driver’s daughter, she has always seen the “final lap” as a symbol of perseverance and commitment. She is delegate #22, and is ready for you!
